Pediatric Opioid Overdose

Subsidized Simulation Training

Simulation in Motion Montana, Inc. is proud to offer—through a subsidy provided by the CDC in partnership with MT EMSTS/DPHHS—Pediatric Opioid Overdose simulation. This fully subsidized simulation-based experiential learning is available to address accidental pediatric opioid overdoses. According to CDC data, the use of prescription and illicit opioids caused the deaths of almost 9,000 children and adolescents in the United States between 1999 and 2016. It is vital that all first responsers and clinicians be aware of the best practice care for Pediatric Opioid Overdoses. The care for these young patients requires rethinking the clinical approach through experiential learning and updating best practices in care guidelines.

This program is custom built for EMS and emergency responder groups.
